We're excited to offer a series of virtual professional development opportunities this August to support your continued growth as an early childhood educator. 

• All sessions will be held via Zoom and are aligned with Colorado’s early learning competencies.
• All trainings (except Colorado Pyramid Model Training) require registration through your PDIS account.

Here is What’s Coming Up:

🔹 Trauma-Informed Practices ($35)

Date: Tuesday, August 12 at 6:00 PM

Explore how trauma impacts young children and gain strategies for creating safe, responsive learning environments.

🔹 Colorado Pyramid Model Training

Begins: Friday, August 14

A comprehensive 50-hour training series that supports social-emotional development, inclusive practices, and behavior support strategies.  Click Here for Registration Details 

🔹 Let’s Get Comfortable with ECERS‑3 ($50)

Dates: Tuesday, August 19 & Thursday, August 21 at 6:00 PM

Build confidence in using the ECERS-3 tool to assess and enhance preschool classroom quality. Attend both dates to earn the 5.5-hour training certificate.

🔹 Guiding Children’s Behavior – It Starts with Us ($35)

Date: Tuesday, August 26 at 6:00 PM

Reflect on how adult responses and classroom environments shape children’s behavior. Learn proactive, relationship-based guidance strategies for guiding children's behavior.

To Register:

• Visit PDIS 
• Use the Learning Search to find the training by title
• Request the posted session for your preferred date
• Watch for a confirmation email with payment instructions
